Lady with Long Hair

Mrs. Toupee has lived alone for years. Since her husband passed away, her son and grandchild have often visited her, but Mrs. Toupee can't find her place in the world. One day Mrs. Toupee starts baking cookies for her family, and she notices something extraordinary. While she is baking, her beautiful enormous bun starts to come loose. Mrs. Toupee smooths it again and again, but her hair suddenly ripples upwards, as if somebody is calling her. Mrs Toupee gets frightened, and tried to keep her hair from loosening. She has to keep her hair back more and more strongly, when finally she lets it out. As she follows her hair upwards, filled with memories, she relives the boat trips with her husband, the long walking in the sunshine among bales of hay, and she slowly understands, that her time has come to be reunited, together with her husband once more..

As I think, my brain fills with pointless worries and anxiety. That’s when I start to clean my room. As I clean busily, wash the dishes and do the laundry I’ve been putting off, my anxiety disappears naturally.

7362 is concerned with dividing and joining together. It begins with two black circles against a white background, knocking together and gradually moving further apart. The circles fade out, and return as white circles against black inside a square. Images similar to Rorschach blots appear. Gradually the viewer realizes that the images were not originally abstract, but were human forms (dancers, gymnasts, etc.), bridges, and others that have been split down the center of the frame, with their mirror images printed on either side of the split. Red, green, and white tints further abstract the images from their original foundations in the natural world, making dancers appear to be amoebas or dividing cells. The accompanying sound track is a mixture of electronic music and musique concrète ("real" recorded sounds manipulated to sound abstract).

The Hunting Season

The Clock is Ticking transports its audience into a collage of creative multimedia animation. This short animated film explores the passage of time. At the sight of a teddy bear sitting alone on a chair, Emily can’t help but identify with the plushie. She dives deep into her subconscious, reliving her past and expanding into a potential future doomed to destruction. Time doesn’t wait, and the clock keeps ticking. Faced with this realization, Emily snaps out of her dream, deeply changed. She grabs the plushie and escapes the waiting room in a hysterical demonstration of freedom. Emily will no longer wait !

The Vanished World of Gloves
