Between bars and shows, Dodô Pankada divides his time between his work as a barber and the stages of São Paulo's independent music scene, where he sings forró and other genres that are part of his Northeastern roots. Alongside him is Ericoness, a curious and eccentric outsider, who enters Dodô's world with the goal of documenting his routine and trying to understand what makes him continue pursuing his dream.

For the personal story of Suely Rolnik, who is a Brazilian psychoanalyst currently living in São Paulo, involves the Brazilian dictatorship of the sixties as well as the Parisian intellectual climate surrounding Deleuze and Guattari in the seventies.
