Nina, mid 20’s, is a visual artist whose art depicts the feminine beauty of all women but struggles with self-identity as a multicultural millennial woman. While flipping through social media her frustration leads her to brood over old photos of complex stages in her life. She’s inspired to create a portrait that represents her personal voyage to self confidence and finally see her beautiful self.

Harry Peltzer, who is passionate about his job as a firefighter, and his superior, fire chief Paul Körner, are the best of friends. Throw a valuable emerald into the works, and the fact that the dead man suddenly comes back to life, and Stonehouse -- not to mention the audience -- becomes thoroughly befuddled by it all. Everything clears up, however, when Gilberte gives him a theater ticket -- it turns out that everything he went through was the plot to a stage play, enacted in real life by the actors. The critics roasted the play, saying it wasn't true to life, and this was their proof that the situations really could happen. Gilberte retires from acting when Stonehouse proposes.
