Funk legend Sly Stone disappeared from the limelight for more than 20 years. Musicians and the media tried to find the recluse but failed. In 2005 Willem Alkema started searching for Sly. Sly didn't want to be found or filmed, but Willem didn't give up and finally followed Sly in his first steps on stage in decades.

Grateful Dead: The Closing of Winterland

The Closing Of Winterland documents the Grateful Dead's landmark New Year's Eve 1978 concert that marked the end of the famed San Francisco Bay Area venue Winterland Aena. The Dead celebrated the closing as an approximately five-hour-long party (complete with breakfast with the audience at dawn) and invited some guests including guitarist John Cipollina of Quicksilver Messenger Service and Ken Kesey as well as actor Dan Aykroyd who provided the midnight countdown.

He brings the chimp back to his mission and nurses her back to health, naming her Mookie. A year later, Brother Benoit discovers Mookie can not only play basketball, but she can talk, the result of an exposure to radiation from a meteor crash. Primate experts from America are eager to get their hands on the little ape, but the Brother will allow no experiments to be performed on her. The Brother recruits Antoine, a boxer down on his luck, to help Mookie and the Brother flee to Mexico City, but when it turns out Antoine is wanted by the Mexican Mafia for not throwing a fight, all three must make tracks to insure their safety.

Hermanoteu In the Land of Godah

The comedy tells the story of Hermanotheus, brother of Micalateia and typical Hebrew of the year zero, companion, good shepherd and obedient. He receives the divine mission to guide his people to the land of Godah, in a satire on the biblical story of Moses. In a setting that represents an immense desert, actor Ricardo Pipo plays Hermanotheu, who encounters characters on the way from Cleopatra to the son of the Whole -Powerful. Actors Adriana Nunes, Adriano Siri, Jovane Nunes, Victor Leal and Welder Rodrigues take turns in the other roles. The voice of God, which appears in the off-screen, is by Chico Anysio. Following the group's line of satire, “Hermanoteu in the Land of Godah” visits the diversity of the Bible. The comedy also makes numerous quotes from the modern world, bringing the past closer to the present.
