Alraune

It is a variation on the original legend of Alraune in which a Mad Scientist creates a beautiful but demonic child from the forced union between a woman and a Mandrake root. Not to be confused with the 1918 German version of Alraune.

Two opposing characters are hidden in the person of the inconspicuous London gentleman Dr. Warren and Janus.

The Dance of Death

In this apparently lost film, a beautiful dancer's sexual allure is used by an evil cripple to entice men to their deaths. Falling in love with one of the potential victims, she is told by the cripple that he will set her free if her lover, actually a murderer himself, survives and escapes a bizarre labyrinthe which runs beneath the cripple's house.

Levizia

Johannes is seriously wounded during a battle in World War I and wakes up weeks later in the care of an attractive woman who leads a hermit existence and has nursed him back to health. He falls in love with the pretty woman named Levizia and soon realizes that there are some things that are not right with her. Soon after, Johannes, who has no memory of his past, is wanted as a deserter and has to flee together with Levizia. Piece by piece Levizia confronts him with the fact that his life was completely different before and that she should never love him. A confrontation with her pursuers and the compulsion of her destiny seems to become inevitable.

Resurrection of a Corpse

One of the two earliest horror films ever made. This film is presumed lost. In this black comedy scene, the bottom falls out of a coffin, the corpse tumble out, and is jolted back to life. Short sequences like this, as well as street scenes and dancing geisha girls were the main subjects of early Nippon cinema, pioneered by Shiro Asano and Shibata Tsunekichi from 1897 onwards. In creating dramatic, scenes, film-makers naturally chose the most striking or bizarre. Another undocumented film, recalled by cameraman Shiro Asano.

Nick, Amber and Rusty are three friends looking to earn some easy money by working at an attraction that comes to town. The attraction is run by a mysterious woman named Elena. The problem is that the town sheriff doesn't like outsiders and will do anything in his power to keep the town in order and hide a terrifying past.

The Cabin

Six teenagers go up to an old cabin in the woods for a vacation get-away. When they get there, strange things start happening. The cabin was used as a torture/execution site in medieval times. A young man named Jared, who was convicted of killing his wife, was tortured to death. Only thing was, he was innocent, and his soul is now trapped in that very cabin. His soul can't be released until the cabin is destroyed. Jared placed a spell on Earth, in the year 1998 AD, to make Earth devoid of light and life. One by one, the kids are turned into bloodthirsty, merciless zombie-deadites, as Jared possesses their very bodies, in an attempt to make them destroy the cabin. The helpless kids fight for their very lives against what used to be friends and lovers.

Mortmain

Surgeon Crisp announces to his student doctors and friends that he has solved the problem of limb-grafting, and shows proofs. Among those deeply interested is Mortmain, a musician and a friend of the surgeon.

The Hunchback and the Dancer

Wilton, a hunchback, who was always scorned and ridiculed by women, returns from Java a rich man after having discovered a diamond mine. He romances Gina, who is on the rebound from a broken affair, and showers her with expensive gifts. After Gina reconciles with her boyfriend, she continues to see Wilton because of what he gives her. After he discovers her perfidy, Wilton develops a poison and mixes it into her lipstick, which will kill any man who kisses her.

The Minotaur

The hero Theseus with the help of his beloved, slays the Minotaur, a half-man, half-bull monster that demands a sacrifice of seven youths and seven maidens from Athens and Crete.

The Golem

This mostly lost film is often confused with director Paul Wegener third and readily available interpretation of the legend; Der Golem, wie er in die Welt kam (1920). In this version of the golem legend, the golem, a clay statue brought to life by Rabbi Loew in 16th century Prague to save the Jews from the ongoing brutal persecution by the city's rulers, is found in the rubble of an old synagogue in the 20th century. Brought to life by an antique dealer, the golem is used as a menial servant. Eventually falling in love with the dealer's wife, it goes on a murderous rampage when its love for her goes unanswered.
