30 years ago, on June 23rd, 1991, Sonic the Hedgehog was released on the SEGA Genesis, beginning a new era of gaming. Since then, Sonic has been running through countless zones, beating badniks, and saving the world with the help of his friends. Returning wounded from the war Maksym was overcome by self-doubt, in his physiological state. He is undergoing rehabilitation. He loses contact with his wife. He is tormented by dreams. In one of his dreams Maksym goes to the island to catch a lot of fish, as the paramedic advised him. Maksym takes a boat, net, dynamite from the best man and sails to the island.

Demon's Kiss

While on an exploratory research trip into the jungles of South America, the beautiful Teresa Burns in bitten by a strange creature. Upon returning home Teresa starts to change - she is more aggressive, with heightened senses and an uncontrollable passion. The mysterious bite has inflicted her with the lust of a wild woman and the killer kiss of a demon. Teresa's boyfriend Paul is detained as the prime suspect of several mysterious murders. He informs the police about his girlfriend's strange behavior since their return and that it is she who is responsible for the murders. As Teresa's passion grows stronger, so does her bloodlust. Soon the demons within her take over, pushing her to the edge of sanity.

Video installation, 2005, at LOKAAL_01 Breda 2007, Burning Marl, curator Frederik Vergaert in Seppenshuis Zoersel, 2005. A woman walking through 3 video images. Three screens display how the day’s light passes by: from the early morning light until late at night. Along with the woman the artist walks through the forest, in the same rhythm, the same pace. Off-screen she looks through the camera, fragmenting time. The age-old androgynous trees are a vertical constant along which the woman moves, as if in an interval between visibility and invisibility, between sound and silence, while the light keeps on evolving metabletically.
