"In 2010 I filmed the encounter commemorating the Bicentennial of the Argentine Republic. In the passing years I sporicadally edited the material. I projected it. I seal it. Recently I projected the images again and in some way I saw a group of young, strong and beautiful people to which I belong and represents me. Collating this images with the present, I also saw a void and a debt."

The Man of Steel

Ritual

It's a staging of The Maids, which, set in the 1930s, tells the story of two sisters working in the house of an abusive woman. Genet's film begins with a ritual: the lighting of candles. It's a black and white film with complex lighting design.

An island is a refuge. Within the forest dwell ancient trees, stones, animals of all sizes, and a few branches found along the way. Childhood and discoveries. Knowledge lost in the mist, aboard a ship. A field of attraction where past, present, and future dance in the fire without temporal order; the children are all ages. We have arrived at the strange land of Gombaut.

Diary of an abandoned extraterrestrial

Between 7,000 and 11,000 years ago, a group of extraterrestrial visitors landed on the Chubut River for a picnic. For unknown reasons, they abandoned (or perhaps forgot?) one of their own. This abandoned extraterrestrial is recording his last days on Earth.

The Legend of Tibrogargan

The Legend of Tibrogargan is a film about Australian identity and about my own identity: growing up in France, I felt far removed from the country I belonged to. Ten years after my last visit, I decided to pay homage to my ancestors with one of my grandfather's orchestral compositions, "The Legend of Tibrogargan," and a radio recording of his voice telling it.

The scissor dance is a 16th-century magical-religious dance and ritual in which the dancers act as mediators between humans and deities. It originated in the Ayacucho, Apurimac, and Huancavelica regions and began to gain popularity in Lima in the 1980s, during the waves of migration from rural areas to the city.

Offering

In the Otomi worldview (an ethnic group from central Mexico), corn, or the wise seed, fell in the form of drops to fertilize the world. Their agricultural activity marks the ceremonial cycles. As an offering and expression of gratitude, tortillas are prepared and dyed with the natural dye of the muicle plant.
