Elvis Costello & The Imposters: The Return Of The Spectacular Spinning Songbook

The Spectacular Spinning Songbook made its first appearance in 1986 in Los Angeles during the "Costello Sings Again Tour." In 2011, Elvis Costello and the Imposters set out on The Revolver Tour and, for the first time in 25 years, once again allowed his set-list to be chosen by "The Spectacular Spinning Songbook," a monumental game-show type wheel spun by select fans and featuring songs from his latest critically acclaimed release National Ransom, plus new renditions of hits, rarities and very unexpected covers. This is the complete concert from the 12th May, including special guest appearance from The Bangles.

The Replacements: Incident on 7th Street

During the first week of September 1981, Twin/Tone took the mobile recording unit and rented a bunch of video gear and recorded 15 bands live (five nights) at the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis... These movies are from the show on September 5th. The band had released "Sorry Ma..." earlier in the year and were already working on future projects. These clips are presented as they were recorded live... in set order and very much with the tuning that troubled the night. The Replacements were the middle band of three (Husker Du closed the show) and played two 25 minute sets.

A concert performance of the most famous parts of Dvořák's opera Rusalka in the park of Liteň Castle, directed by the Caban brothers with multimedia elements and original choreography... The year 2021 marks an important milestone in the history of Dvořák's opera Rusalka, which premiered in 1901, 120 years ago. At the same time, the non-profit organization Liteň Castle and the Jarmila Novotná Festival are celebrating ten years of activity. Its mission is to popularize the name of the legendary diva, actress, patriot, and important personality Jarmila Novotná and to care for the cultural monuments on the grounds of Liteň Castle—and on the occasion of both anniversaries, it did so with an extraordinary performance of the opera Rusalka in the picturesque surroundings and magical summer atmosphere of Liteň Castle.

The album was recorded at the "biggest Scooter concert ever" at the Color Line Arena, in Hamburg, Germany. This was during the Under The Radar Over The Top Tour, where Scooter were promoting their 2009 studio album Under the Radar Over the Top. Jarre in China is the first THX certified concert filmed in High Definition. The concert represents the beginning of China's "Year of France". Jean Michel Jarre returns to China after his 1981 concerts in China, where he was the first Western Musician to perform since the revolution, and his Hong Kong concert in March 1994. The concert was performed live in 5.1 Surround Sound and broadcast live to over 1 Billion Chinese viewers. Jean Michel Jarre was accompanied by 260 musicians, including The Beijing Symphony Orchestra, The Chinese National Orchestra, The Beijing Opera Chorus, and notable Chinese rock musicians. The DVD contains audio commentaries in French and in English by Jean Michel Jarre, 52 minute documentary Jean Michel Jarre in the Footsteps of the Last Emperor, 9 minute documentary Freedom of Speech featuring Cui Jian, photo gallery, and Jean Michel Jarre biography.

Permanent Record: Live & Otherwise is a DVD released by the Violent Femmes on July 12, 2005. The first thirteen tracks were filmed during a live concert at The Boat House in Norfolk, Virginia on July 21, 1991. Tracks 14 through 20 are music videos. The last track is footage of an impromptu performance of "Kiss Off", in front of the Downer Theater in the band's hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The staging was spectacular with a ground breaking light show, stunning visuals and a state of the art sound system. Hans Zimmer performs on multiple instruments and gives introductory insights to many of the pieces during the concert. This show is a treat for lovers of both great music and great movies.
