It is 1985 in a neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina. One morning, four friends gather to listen to the military draft lottery, doing their best to spend the hours avoiding the subject. They know that, no matter how much they try to put it off or distract themselves, they are about to face a turning point in their lives—but they will face it together.
Through abrupt soundtrack shifts, this short film jumps between historical political imagery to explore the cinematic language of propaganda, unpacking complex concepts through sensory explosions — from the Brazilian military dictatorship to the Chinese revolution.
