Rhys Darby is a standup comic from New Zealand. This special celebrates 25 Years of his career as he brings his favourite standup pieces. Rhys is known for his fantastical storytelling and physical comedy prowess and loves to bring his imagination alive onstage. He has wowed audiences from NZ, to the UK, to the US, he is a regular headline act at Festivals including Just for Laughs and the Edinburgh Fringe. Best known as a comedy actor and voice over artist, Rhys burst onto our screens as the loveable, inept manager, Murray in Flight of the Conchords. He has gone on to star in movies like Jumanji and What we do in the Shadows and a broad range of TV from sitcom to travel shows. 25 Years is his 6th comedy special. His previous specials are Imagine That (2007), It’s Rhys Darby Night (2011), This Way to Spaceship (2012), I’m A Fighter Jet (2017) and Mystic Time Bird (2021). This Way to Spaceship was based on his bestselling autobiographical space novel of the same name.
