The inhabited world is a constructed environment: a space that has been defined, created, and scaled for the sustenance and privilege of the human species alone. Humans have created a language that we cannot see beyond, one based on capital that hurdles us towards social and climate collapse. Contours reveals this position while also meditating on what it would mean to move away from this language in order to privilege not only the human but the other than human as well.

Structured around the ten most significant celestial bodies of the Milky Way, Apple Pie’s inquiry begins with the furthest point in our solar system, Pluto, as a lens back towards our home planet and the ‘mechanisms by which certain aspects of scientific knowledge are digested, appropriated and subsequently manifest within the general human complex’. Christopher Francis Schiel’s dry, functional narration brings a network of ideas about our existence into focus, while Hamilton’s visual tableaux, as an extension of his multifaceted practice, veer imaginatively between psychedelic imagery and performance art.

**The Result (2021)** *The Result* is an experimental horror film created by independent artist MiRRoRMaN of AmigaCam.net, combining artificial intelligence tools with archival footage and digital editing techniques. The film features a story generated with the assistance of early AI technology, along with AI-assisted colorization, voice cloning, and lip synchronization. The movie was constructed from royalty-free and public domain source material, transformed into a new narrative through editing, additional graphics, music, and creative direction. With additional music and visual work by MiRRoRMaN, *The Result* explores the possibilities and limitations of AI-assisted filmmaking during the early years of accessible creative AI tools.
