He deceived his younger brother, went to his centipede, which led him to ally Rica - a witch, who asked his younger brother to give people a weapon that start killing people. Created by Noburo Ofuji, who had been cartoon making since the 1920s, often with decorative paper cutouts. The character animation looks like it was done 15 years before, but a lot of the elements are highly original; design (those trees!), use of camera focus. Heavily musical in a manner that recalls animation's earliest use of sound. The lesson here is: "If you can't count on your friends, travel alone".

A group of conspirators who wish to prevent Sergius ascending the throne, lure him to the house of the Delirian Ambassador where they intend to keep him prisoner. The young Duchess caught in a heavy shower, is given shelter at the house by the Ambassador's footman. Here she learns of the plot against the youth with whom she has spent a charming evening, and it is her wit and ingenuity that upset the plans of the conspirators and enable Sergius to secure his crown.

When he cuts it down, Chip and Dale fall out, but their acorns stay behind, so they work at putting out Donald's fire and retrieving their stash. Donald, of course, takes this as calmly and cheerfully as you would expect.
