The Love Letter

Desperate for help, Parker pens an anonymous letter to her own column asking for advice. Unexpectedly, she learns about her own feelings instead.

The Monkey

All of this would be reasonable according to the laws of war and hatred among humans. The problem is the prisoner is a monkey.

A journey through the figure of Martín-Santos, his peculiar view of post-war Spain and his work hidden for years based on partly unpublished texts.

Terra Nullius or: How to Be a Nationalist

Even uninhabited archipelagos may be subject to drawn out territorial disputes if they are rich in oil deposits. However, the filmmaker is more concerned with how ownership issues reverberate amongst nationalists in competing countries rather than in the history of the dispute or its resolution, making it possible to present the patriotic pathos-soaked ceremonies of the Japanese, the efforts of Chinese authorities to complicate diversionary activities, and the expressive protests and bizarre rituals of Taiwanese activists. The desire to understand the situation leads the director to participate in several futile attempts to land on the islands. Although he finds himself on the frontline during an escalation in the conflict, he is able to maintain his distance as an impartial observer.

The Black Dahlia Murder: Majesty

The Black Dahlia Murder’s DVD Majesty is one part Jackass, one part Animal House and one part metal video. The band members smoke colossal amounts of weed, chug gallons of beer from two-story tall funnels, gulp whiskey and Jagermeister from the bottle and eat every processed meat sold at truck stops. The Majesty DVD set also contains a second disc with live performances and video.
