In the 1970s, thousands of elephants were systematically killed in South Africa. The traumatized orphaned calves were taken to a small national park. Without older elephants to guide them, they grew up on their own. Years later, the young bulls began overturning tourist vehicles and killing animals and people. The film explores how trauma changes social creatures across generations.
"Solovky Power" is a documentary about the first Soviet labor camp created by Lenin in 1923. Solovky was established in a complex of ancient monasteries on a cluster of islands off the remote White Sea coast.
