Playmobil: The Explorers

Depressed by the direction his life is taking, Harry decides to take his own life by jumping off the Manhattan Bridge. At the last minute he's stopped by old friend Milt Manville, a successful stock broker. Milt, however, is facing his own problem: he has fallen out of love with his argumentative wife, Ellen. In a misguided effort to solve both of their problems, he introduces Ellen to Harry, hoping the two will fall in love.

Racing Daylight

RACING DAYLIGHT is a spooky murder mystery as well as a supernatural love story that transcends time. The film captures the journey of Sadie Stokes (Melissa Leo), a librarian, who comes back to her Cedersville family farm to take care of her catatonic grandmother (played by Leclanche Durand). They are the sole torchbearers of Cedersville. Sadie's happy existence is threatened when a mysterious image appears suddenly in her mirror, calling out the name "Anna" before vanishing. Haunted by the apparition, Sadie slowly begins to assume the characteristics of Anna Stokes, her ancestor, while discovering that the only person who can satisfy both herself and the spirit is her crush Henry (David Strathairn), the local handyman and an ardent Civil War fanatic. However, the plot thickens when Sadie eventually discovers that Henry is a reincarnation of Harry, a soldier and Anna’s love interest. Panos comes to Athens in search for a better life. He is fed up with life in the countryside, unemployment and the whole situation with his family. He hooks up with a bunch of ambitious- but unemployed- teenagers. One night at a disco, Panos beats up a guy who is asking for trouble. He leaves the club along with his friends. The other guy cannot calm down without taking revenge so he takes his friends and they beat up Panos & co. The following night, Panos rapes the guys sister. Afterwards he apologises and they start a relationship. She gets fired from the super market where she works for helping Panos steal. Panos cannot live in misery anymore and steals a yoghurt factory with the help of his friends. The ending is tragic...

Is This the Real World

In the real world you can't just do what you want. In the real world you have to compromise. Mark Blazey does not want to live in the real world. Living in a semi-industrial coastal town, seventeen-year old Mark is a smart kid from a chaotic family who has just thrown away a scholarship to a private school and found himself at the local high. At school Mark is zeroed in on by an overbearing principal who dominates everything around him. At home Mark is dealing with a jail-bound brother, his grandmother is fighting for her life, and a mum who's short fuse is kept doused with cask wine. His little sister is someone he wants to protect. When Mark finds his first real love he tries to escape all the forces in his life with her. But his love is with the daughter of his nemesis, the school principal. Simmering tensions boil over between the student and the teacher, between the son and his mother.
