Overview

Animators were asked to submit ideas based on the theme, "Do the Right Thing". This story is based on the director's experience of losing her chair while working in the National Film Board's animation studio. This film also explores the many uses for a carrot.

The erotic as frivolous, mischievous, frolic, comic and sometimes also slightly serious animated musical erotic fantasy. Much like the modern dance art, the film is marked by interplay of the visual and musical components – picture, rhythm, color, motion. The film consists of separate sequences, each of them accompanied by individual musical movements of Mr. Saint-Saens’s composition.

Though the tale of the Cosmic Egg has been told in many cultures and civilizations from around the world, even on all five continents, ink on glass illustrates this dimly coloured adaptation, verging many ideas from different cultures, instead of holding true to only one, celebrating the human experience not as a singularity, but as a whole.
