The biggest revue success of the year, Cirkusrevyen '95. More than 150,000 people have cheered and laughed along with Lisbet Dahl, Ditte Gråbøl, Claus Ryskjær, Ulf Pilgaard, and Niels Olsen. The 2008 Circus Revue with Denmark's best revue actors: Ulf Pilgaard, Lisbeth Dahl, Henrik Løkkegaard, Ditte Hansen, and Niels Ellegaard. This year's Cirkusrevy has it all: show, fun, satire, and stars who can make it all float effortlessly," wrote Berlingske's reviewer about Cirkusrevyen 2024, which once again this year serves up satire, parodies, and a fast-paced show with sharp lyrics and beautiful music. Cirkusrevy debutant Silas Holst performs a dazzling parody of Queen Mary, who tries to help King Frederik, played by Niels Ellegaard, remember his motto.
Joy-Maria Frederiksen is the new director in 2023, and there is plenty of topicality and depth, while preserving the revue's fine heritage. Cirkusrevyen 2023 is an elegant performance with enthusiastic performers.
The revue is first and foremost Dirch Passer's. Here he is at the top of his game in his successful career as a revue artist. A genre he masters better than anyone else. Daimi is a worthy co-star, not least in their big song number "Who have you kissed in your doorway?" and Lily Broberg, Preben Kaas, and Klaus Pagh are also in their element.
Since 1935, Denmark's largest revue has been lifting the spirits of the Danish people. As both director and actress, Lisbet Dahl presents this year's revue team with well-known stars and one unknown quantity. Look forward to seeing Claus Ryskjær, Ulf Pilgaard, Henrik Lykkegaard, and Marie Askehave on stage until August 27.
Cirkusrevyen 2022 looks back on the past year with powerful satire and entertainment in a class of its own. Experience Merete Mærkedahl's parody of the prime minister, Pernille Schrøder as Pia Kjærsgaard, and Niels Olsen, Henrik Lykkegaard, and Carsten Svendsen as three eager cyclists who 'fill the whole road'. Carlo, a police officer, after intercepting a call conducts a drug bust at a private party at the upper class apartment of Rosanna Clerici and she is arrested. Just as the police and party guests are leaving, Giulio, Rosanna's six-year-old son, comes out of his room and asks Carlo where his mother is. Seeing that Carlo is the person responsible for his mother's arrest, Giulio tags along with him until his mother is freed. Carlo does everything possible to have Social Services or somebody look after the kid but is told by the Courts that he is the best candidate for his custody until a better one is found. Even though Giulio manages to turn Carlo's life inside out he ends up getting to like the kid and falling for the kid's mother, Rosanna, while she is in prison. It ends with Rosanna being released from prison and the three of them going out for dinner.
