To mark the fiftieth anniversary of its premiere, it will return to the stage of the Takarazuka Grand Theater in 2024 for the first time in ten years. This story, a foundational work of shojo manga that continues to be loved by many people across ages and borders, is set in France during the raging revolution, depicting the forbidden love of two couples. The Takarazuka Revue has staged various versions of The Rose of Versailles over the years. Setting stage at 1930s London, William (Bill) is a young man brought up in the villages and the next heir to the Earldom of Hareford. This is the story of how Bill grew as a proper gentleman, and the romantic comedy masterpiece between him and his lover, Sally. In this Takarazuka performance, Amami Yuuki who plays character Bill, and together with Kano Maria who plays as Sally, we will present to you this heartful musical that is filled with famous songs.

This time it will be in modern Denmark, with everything developed in the form of the ghosts ("black spirits" which cannot pass on) progressing. The tale's theme is basically "revenge", but lurking behind that is the frank love of a man and a woman, parent-child passions, and a futile adolescence passing by. This will be a powerful rock musical unfolding through hard rock music.
