Mu Xia is a talented locksmith. While dealing with a strange murder case within a locked room, Qin Zuo Man inadvertently discovers that Mu Xia is the new security consultant hired by the police academy. As more locked room cases arise, the simple-minded Qin Zuo Man, the monotonous Mu Xia and celebrity cop Tan You join hands to form an investigative team that seeks to uncover the truth through every door.

The show covered many subjects and has a "Most Moment" at the end of every episode. The subjects of the series had to do with the "Most" of something. For example, the most isolated place in space, the most infamous symbol, or even the "most" largest island. In addition, the stories were arranged into categories such as "close calls". The Most detailed the "most" in history—the people, places, and events of the past that had significant impact when they occurred, and how they stood the test of time.
