These two figures, historically known as the "Immortal of Go" and the "Sage of Go," are celebrated as the Li Bai and Du Fu of the Go world. They were renowned across China, Japan, and Korea, and the level of Go skills during the Kangxi and Qianlong eras, represented by them, was a pinnacle in the history of Go development.
