Through her soul, she meets the strange, nameless god without a shrine, Yato. Yato is determined to make a name for himself out there by accepting any wishes for 5 yen, including Hiyori's to fix her body.

Hope Island

Hope Island is an American television show that originally aired on PAX TV in the 1999-2000 season. It was based on Ballykissangel, a popular drama that aired on the BBC One. - Reverend Daniel Cooper arrives on Hope Island to reopen a church that has been abandoned for decades, hoping the quiet assignment will help him move past a personal tragedy. Met with skepticism from the island’s residents—especially innkeeper Alex Stone, who has long turned away from faith—Daniel struggles to find his place. With the help of Alex’s young son Dylan, a lonely boy who becomes his unexpected ally, Daniel begins restoring both the church and his own sense of purpose. As he earns the trust of the island’s quirky community, he must confront the past he tried to escape and discovers the possibility of healing, belonging, and new love. - The series ran for 22 episodes, and focused on the residents of Hope Island, a small island in the Pacific Northwest with a population of 1,998.

Friends and Heroes

Friends and Heroes is a Christian children's program that airs on TBN, Smile of a Child TV, and was also shown on BBC TV. The show is both traditionally animated and computer animated. It takes place from 69 - 71 AD. There are three series each of 13 Episodes: Series 1 is set in Alexandria, Egypt; Series 2 in Jerusalem and Series 3 in Rome. The series was created by Brian D. Brown and Eric J. Danenberg, who also worked on The Storykeepers.

Popetown

Popetown is a controversial animated sitcom, billed by its producers as "Father Ted meets South Park", following the doodles and scribblings of a student at school during a lesson. His drawings depict the life of Father Nicholas, who lives in a Vatican City parody referred to as "Popetown". He is charged with being the handler for the Pope who is a complete nincompoop with the emotional and mental maturity of a four-year-old. Father Nicholas must keep the Pope out of trouble, and make sure the general public does not find out that the Holy Father is a drooling idiot. Other characters include a priest who is a sexual deviant, and a trio of corrupt cardinals who secretly run Popetown and attempt to get rich behind the Pope's back. These and other elements caused the show to be extremely controversial.

Hozuki's Coolheadedness

Hōzuki is the aide to the great king of Hell, King Enma. Calm and super-sadistic, Hōzuki tries to resolve the various problems in Hell, including a rampaging Momotarō and his companions. However, he also likes spending his free time on his hobbies, such as fawning over cute animals and raising "Goldfish Flowers."

They frequently retell Biblical stories, sometimes anachronistically reframed, and include humorous references to pop culture in many different eras by putting Veggie spins on them.

Amen

Amen is an American television sitcom produced by Carson Productions that ran from September 27, 1986 to May 11, 1991 on NBC. Set in Sherman Hemsley's real-life hometown of Philadelphia, Amen stars Hemsley as the deacon of a church and was part of a wave of successful sitcoms on NBC in the 1980s which featured entirely or almost-entirely black casts.
