Extreme Debut: Wild Idol

In this unique new survival program format, 45 male trainees will enter an extreme outdoor bootcamp, where they must survive rigorous physical training and reach the "top of the food pyramid" in order to earn a chance at debuting. The show will give birth to a new type of "wild idol" group through a never-before-seen survival contest.

SIXTEEN

The show pitted sixteen JYP trainees against one another to secure a spot in the girl group Twice. Sixteen contestants were assessed for not only their singing and dancing abilities but also their charisma and personality.

Nizi Project

A joint Girl Group Project “Nizi Project” by JYP and Sony Music. The winners of Season 1 will participate in the survival show for the 2nd Season in the 3rd quarter of 2020 which is hopefully to debut a Japanese Girl Group in December 2020. The Debut: Dream Academy

The Debut: Dream Academy is a talent competition reality show created as an international collaboration between record labels Hybe and Geffen Records aimed at creating a global girl group. The fan-interactive project involves 20 female candidates from around the world competing in three "missions" to test their artistry. Eliminations occur after each mission, leaving 10 contestants to compete in the finale, during which the final group's members will be decided.

Produce 101

Produce 101 (프로듀스 101) is a reality music group survival show on Mnet. It is a large-scale project in which the public "produces" a unit group by choosing members from a pool of 101 trainees from 46 entertainment companies as well as the group's concept, debut song, and group name.

BOYS24

BOYS24 is a 2016 reality boy group unit survival show. It is a large-scale project in which the units of a selected number of members will be produced from a pool of 49 free-agents. 28 trainees, instead of the planned 24, were selected as Boys24 members and were divided into four sub-units who held concerts three to five days a week in rotation for a year. After the 1st Semi-Final, Unit Black debuted as a promotional unit for three months. The final eight winners debuted together on October 26, 2017 as IN2IT.

B:MY BOYZ

B:MY BOYZ aims to create a new global boy group. The show will feature 30 talents selected from Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, and beyond, with the goal to debut as the next generation idols. The participants will compete against each other in various fields including vocals, performance, and producing, with the current top idol seniors selecting the next idols.

Fantasy Boys: Excitement After School

A South Korean reality competition show created by MBC. The follow up to My Teenage Girl: Excitement After School, but this time featuring male contestants dreaming of becoming idols.

Make Mate 1

I-LAND

I-LAND (아이랜드) is a South Korean boy group reality survival show produced by Mnet and organized by Belift Lab, which at the time of airing was a joint venture between entertainment companies CJ ENM and HYBE. It premiered on June 26, 2020 and broadcasted every Friday at 11 p.m. KST on Mnet. A second season, I-Land 2, was expected to premiere in the first half of 2022 featuring female trainees; however, on July 15, 2022, it was announced that it would be postponed. Instead in 2023, HYBE partnered with JTBC to produce R U Next? featuring trainees who would debut in Illit, signing with Belift Lab, becoming labelmates with Enhypen. On July 24, 2023, Mnet announced the second season titled I-Land 2: N/⍺, not in affiliation with Hybe or Belift Lab, featuring female trainees. The show started airing in April 2024, and is collaborating with The Black Label, with the final lineup debuting in WakeOne.

NO.MERCY

A survival show made of 12 trainees from Starship Entertainment, home of K.will, Sistar and Mad Clown. They compete against each other in order to form a new hip-hop group.

Idol School

Idol School is a reality girl group survival show. The program aims to form a 9 members girl group out of 41 female participants, training them in singing and dancing in the span of 11 weeks.

Santos Bravos

Santos Bravos is a Latin American reality series produced by HYBE Latin America to form a new boy band. The program features 16 later 17 contestants from across Latin America, the United States, and Spain, and follows their training and performances in pursuit of a debut lineup. Santos Bravos combines Hybe's structured artist training system with Latin America's cultural and artistic influences. The series follows contestants' growth within the company's global production model.

Trust Me - I'm A Holiday Rep is a reality television show that was broadcast by Five in the United Kingdom. The first series ran nightly with 10 programmes over 2 weeks. It chronicles attempts by 6 celebrities to work as holiday reps for tour group Olympic Holidays. The programme was presented by Toby Anstis and Nancy Sorrell. Series 2 was also broadcast nightly over 10 days from Monday 18th - Wednesday 27 September. Again the celebs were working for Olympic Holidays, this time in Malia in Crete in Greece. Yukimura and Masamune go after separate Imagawas, but all of the doubles are killed by a third party, and when their paths cross again, they are in front of the menacing Oda Nobunaga and his army. It was Nobunaga’s subordinates that killed those body doubles, and Nobunaga himself proceeds to kill the real Imagawa with a shotgun blast to the head.
