Not Like Other Girls

Flo is not like the other girls at the Ferncliffe Seminary, in that she does not like the attention of the young men at the nearby college, and their efforts to win her affection prove disastrous to their ruffled spirits. Flo has a guardian, John Strong, who has made some unfortunate speculations and to recover his losses uses his ward's fortune, and in the end loses all. He writes to his son and tells him the truth and the only way to keep himself out of jail is a marriage between his son, Owen, and Flo, his ward. Owen arrives home and after persuasion on his father's part, agrees to help him. Flo is invited down for a visit.

A Marine Sergeant wounded in overseas combat requires an operation, and the Navy psychiatrist recommends that ‘Sarge’ be given a few weeks’ rest before hospitalization. Meet Me at Dawn

A young man makes his living in Paris in 1900 by fighting duels on behalf of other parties. He is hired to injure a leading politician and starts to get involved with a girl he uses to provoke the challenge. One newspaper, hostile to the politician, headlines the story of the impending duel asking who this Madame X is. Problem is, she is in fact the daughter of the paper's proprietor if only he knew it.

Aside from the fact that Polly had red hair in abundance, she was not otherwise an exceptional child, save for one thing. Tetsuo: The Iron Man

A "metal fetishist", driven mad by the maggots wriggling in the wound he's made to embed metal into his flesh, runs out into the night and is accidentally run down by a Japanese businessman and his girlfriend. The pair dispose of the corpse in hopes of quietly moving on with their lives. However, the businessman soon finds that he is now plagued by a vicious curse that transforms his flesh into iron.
