Boxeo Constitución shows how, of all places, in a damp, dark boxing hall under the tracks of a train station, young people brace themselves against the social Darwinism of the social crisis. The film follows two teenage boxers from the forgotten suburbs of Buenos Aires on their way to their debut bout. It will be decided in the ring whether they can continue to hope that one day they will leave the lack of prospects in their neighborhood behind in order to "be someone". Youthful enthusiasm meets harsh reality when some of her colleagues form a boxing union.

As a consequence, she became pregnant, and the repressors performed an abortion on her "to correct the mistake." In 2009, her testimony was key to achieving the first conviction for crimes against humanity of a federal judge, Víctor Brusa, and his task force. Three months later, she was brutally murdered in her shop in Rafaela (Santa Fe / Argentina). Today her murder remains unpunished. This documentary reconstructs Silvia in the dimension of her woman, mother and friend, in her political character and in her sensitivity, so that we all know her cause. We seek a truth that does justice to her death and rescues her, above all, the value of her life.

Four Moods

Directed by some of most well known Chinese-language directors of the time, the portmanteau film Four Moods was an attempt to alleviate Li Han-hsiang’s financial troubles during the late 1960s. Arguably one of his best works, King Hu’s short Anger is an adaptation of the famous Peking opera San Cha Kou; set to opera instrumentation and stylishly shot, the film deftly captures the tense showdown between political schemers, avengers and vagabonds inside an inn. Li Han-hsiang’s Happiness, inspired by the Strange Tales of Liaozhai, tells a tale of reprieve for a kind-hearted ghost, while Pai Ching-Jui’s Joy and Lee Hsing’s Sadness both explore the fateful encounters between mortal men and ghostly women.
