Most of us think of death as something clear-cut, and that medical science has it neatly figured out. This feature documentary explodes such assumptions through its exploration of a phenomenon that blurs life and death to an unprecedented degree. In what Tibetan Buddhists call tukdam, advanced meditators die in a consciously controlled manner. Though dead according to our biomedical standards, they often stay sitting upright in meditation; remarkably, their bodies remain fresh and lifelike, without signs of decay for days, sometimes weeks after clinical death. Following ground-breaking scientific research into tukdam and taking us into intimate death stories of Tibetan meditators, the film juxtaposes scientific and Tibetan perspectives as it tries to unravel the mystery of tukdam.

CZW: Tournament of Death V

CZW: Tournament of Death VII

CZW Tournament of Death VII, held in Smyrna, Delaware on May 17, 2008, was a groundbreaking event in professional wrestling. Featuring a mix of hardcore and deathmatch styles, it showcased intense battles with light tubes, barbed wire, and other unconventional weaponry. Notably, it marked the first time a female competitor participated in the Tournament of Death, adding an exciting dimension to the brutal competition

CZW: Tournament of Death VIII

CZW Tournament of Death VIII, held on June 6, 2009, in Townsend, Delaware, USA, was an electrifying instalment in the Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) calendar. This hardcore wrestling extravaganza featured intense bouts, including a memorable final match where Thumbtack Jack emerged victorious in a 200 Light tubes And Panes Of Glass Death Match against Nick Gage.
