On September 1, 2001, Irish rock band U2 made a triumphant return to their roots with two outdoor shows at Slane Castle, Ireland. U2 chose the castle venue because it marked two watershed moments for the band: their recording session for the landmark album THE UNFORGETTABLE FIRE in 1984, and their first Slane appearance opening up for fellow Irish rock band Thin Lizzy in 1981. Tribalistas were a short-lived but popular brazilian musical trio consisting of Marisa Monte, Arnaldo Antunes and Carlinhos Brown. Their one-off collaboration resulted in the popular album Tribalistas, released in Brazil in late 2002 by EMI and in international territories in 2003. The album attained considerable popularity despite the group never performing any song on TV or giving any radio interviews. A DVD release featuring the 'making of' and all the tracks on the album was also released internationally. The song "Já Sei Namorar" was featured on the video game FIFA Football 2004 and the song "Velha Infancia" was used in a soap opera in Brazil called "Mulheres Apaixonadas" as its main theme.

The Bears recorded this DVD live at Club Cafe, an intimate and wired nightclub located in Pittsburgh, PA. Members of The Bears (Adrian Belew, Rob Fetters, Chris Arduser and Bob Nsywonger) chose Club Cafe during their sold-out Car Caught Fire tour as the venue of choice to record the band's first live DVD. Songs from the DVD include many of their fans' favorite songs from the CD Car Caught Fire as well as their first two releases Rise and Shine and The Bears. The DVD also features a cover of King Crimson's 'Red' as well as the classic Raisins track 'Fear Is Never Boring.' The DVD features over 90 minutes of live concert footage in 5.1 Dolby surround sound, as well as intimate interviews with each member of the band talking about their history and song writing.
