Four voices intertwine in a testimonial journey through the Santiago subway, confronting what society prefers to keep underground in its stations. A journey of reconstruction — from memory and experience — that explores the invisible trace these events have left on their lives.

Underground

Numerous people are on subway trains running up and down the city center endlessly. There are people who run this decent space “underground”. Under the noisy world today, we approach them to see what life is like underground.

How we built the Moscow metro

In the 1930’s, the workers of the underground, headed by brigades of writers, are in charge to write in real time "the history of the Moscow Metro". Based on their narratives, partially unpublished, the film recounts the first lines construction of the most beautifiul underground in the world, in the light of this "big literary Utopia", stoped by the purges of 1937-38.

Rocking '83 - Bear's Jam

The End of the Line: Rochester’s Subway 2.0

An all new End of the Line experience detailing the history of Rochester, NY’s former subway that features both updated graphics and remastered sections of the original End of the Line film, in addition to all new footage of more recent changes to the former subway system.

New York Subway

The camera platform was on the front of a New York subway train following another train on the same track. Lighting is provided by a specially constructed work car on a parallel track. At the time of filming, the subway was only seven months old, having opened on October 27, 1904. The ride begins at 14th Street (Union Square) following the route of today's east side IRT, and ends at the old Grand Central Station, built by Cornelius Vanderbuilt in 1869. The Grand Central Station in use today was not completed until 1913.

O Metropolitano

The Making of ‘Moebius’

A look into the creation of the film Moebius. Featuring exclusive behind the scenes footage, interviews with the cast and crew, and a look at the film's shooting locations and media coverage. The original cut of this documentary was lost long ago, but 27 years after it's creation, it was reconstructed from footage recovered and remastered taken from various restored VHS, Betacam SP, MiniDV, and DigiBeta tapes. A final version faithful to the original was successfully re-edited under the supervision of Moebius director Gustavo Mosquera R. and released online. Along with the version in Spanish, a version dubbed in English was also released.
