The Myth of Maracuda

The son of Chief Marakud should become a real warrior, but he does not know how to hunt at all and disappoints his father. Marakuda goes alone into the forest and finds the sacred bird Tink, which gives him the gift of understanding the language of animals and birds. Marakuda and Tink return home with honors. The boy does not know that according to tradition, the sacred bird must be sacrificed for the prosperity of the tribe.

Finding Nemo

Nemo, an adventurous young clownfish, is unexpectedly taken from his Great Barrier Reef home to a dentist's office aquarium. The film, based on Robert Schumann's Pictures from the East, shows in an unusual perspective the work of Nizar Ali Badr, a Syrian sculptor whose unique language of stone sculptures radiates happiness and love in the face of war, destruction, migration, poverty and injustice. The animated sculptures made of pebbles present us with short stories. The soundtrack of the animation - original arrangements of melodies from Karlheinz Stockhausen's "Music Boxes" - is performed by Gidon Kremer and the musicians of his orchestra Kremerata Baltika.

The Black Corsair

The Black Corsair sneaks into Maracaibo to take back his brother's body in the hopes of giving him a proper burial at sea. In the company of a little monkey, Carmaux, Moko and the Black Corsair soon arrive at a local tavern, stuffed with local folk who taunt and laugh at some men who have just hanged, rejoicing over their death.

Here's the premise: Bugs and Daffy, both book salesmen, are competing to sell the most copies of a kids' book. Instead of burrowing a beeline to his sales territory (he should have made a left at Albuquerque), Bugs ends up in the castle of Yosemite Sam, here a harem-leading honcho. Sam's pain-in-the-spurs son, Prince Abalaba, needs somebody to read him stories; Bugs, who'd sooner take the job than suffer the alternative, that involving being boiled in oil, signs on.
