Self-taught composer, turntable prodigy, and visionary producer, DJ Mehdi was the only French artist to bridge the gap between two seemingly opposing worlds: rap and electro. Thirteen years after his sudden passing, this documentary series, directed by his childhood friend Thibaut de Longeville, sheds light on the role of this free spirit in the rise of these two musical scenes in France during the 1990s and 2000s.

Our House is a British Entertainment television programme. Originally broadcast on UKTV Style, it is a show which more thoroughly follows the DIY show fad of the late 1990s. The object of the show is to take a dilapidated house and completely do it up into a "dream" house. The show claims to "bring together everything you need to know about creating your own dream home under one roof - expert advice, step-by-step DIY guides, tricks of the trade". A step-by-step guide to creating the perfect home, in which a 1950's run-down three-bedroom house in Bexley, Kent is renovated from scratch. The show has a central presenter in Andrea McLean, and a series of experts who offer step-by-step advice and insider knowledge on DIY.

Armin van Buuren is Mr. Perfect

Armin van Buuren has been a DJ for twenty years now, so he's got every reason to throw a party. On the 12th and 13th of May (2017) he will be giving a jubilee show for his most loyal fans: The Best Of Armin Only. This will be the biggest Armin van Buuren show ever, and he will be the first DJ to have a solo show in the Amsterdam ArenA. There he will be inviting a series of special national and international artists. Both shows are as good as sold out, but RTL will be giving the viewer the opportunity to follow both shows (semi)-live from their sofa. On the 12th of May, Kaj Gorgels, the host of Concentrate on YouTube, will report live from backstage. On the 13th of May, Johnny de Mol will be there in the ArenA to give people a look behind the scenes in the program 'Armin Only: Live vanuit de ArenA'. Finally, RTL 4 will broadcast one episode a day, starting a week away from the live show, of the documentaire series 'Armin Van Buuren Is Mr. Perfect'. In 'Armin Van Buuren Is Mr. Perfect', a view on the life of Armin van Buuren will be given. Last December he turned 40 and, apart from that, he has been a DJ for 20 years now. How did his career start and what did he have to give up to get where he is now? How does he cope with all the pressure and expectations, now that he has been voted number one DJ for five times already? Where does he get the kick from nowadays? And what else is on his bucket list? Armin will be followed in his preparations for his biggest solo DJ show ever. Not only he will be speaking, also other loved ones like his wife Erika and his parents will give a little information on the life of Armin. Armin van Buuren has been voted number one dj a whopping five times now. Not only that, over the past twenty years, he has received various prices and awards. Graffiti Rock

Graffiti Rock was a hip-hop based television program, originally screened June 29, 1984. Intended as an on-going series, the show only received one pilot episode and aired on WPIX channel 11 in New York City and 88 markets around the country, to good Nielsen ratings. Graffiti Rock resembled a hip hop version of the popular television dance shows at the time such as Soul Train and American Bandstand. The show was created and hosted by Michael Holman, who was the manager of the popular break-dancing crew, the New York City Breakers. The episode features Run D.M.C., Shannon, The New York City Breakers, DJ Jimmie Jazz and Kool Moe Dee and Special K of the Treacherous Three. The New York City Breakers, who were fresh off of their success from the movie, Beat Street, made a showcase appearance. The episode also features television and film actress, Debi Mazar and actor/director Vincent Gallo as dancers on the show. A segment of the show was sampled on The Beastie Boys' LP Ill Communication. "[...] alright, you're scratchin it right now, cut the record back and forth against the needle, back and forth, back and forth, make it scratch, but let me tell you something don't try this at home on your dad's stereo only under hiphop supervision, alright ?" The show has since become an important 'must-see' for hip-hop enthusiasts, alongside such titles as Wild Style and Beat Street.

Agetarou works at his family's tonkatsu restaurant in Shibuya, but he's not very excited by the work. One day, he takes a delivery to the staff of a night club, and the worker lets him in to enjoy the club for a while. Agetarou finds that he loves the club, with its relaxed people and cute girls, all enjoying the music supplied by the DJ. He continues going to the club, until the night comes when the guest American DJ Big Master Fly puts on a show. Agetarou is inspired by Big Master Fly, and realizes that the groove of being a DJ is very similar to the groove of being a tonkatsu chef. Now Agetarou is determined to master both disciplines, though he is most excited to become a DJ!

Amp

Amp was a music video program on MTV that aired from 1996 to 2001. It was aimed at the electronic music and rave crowd and was responsible for exposing many electronica acts to the mainstream. When co-creator Todd Mueller left the show in 1998, it was redubbed Amp 2.0. The show aired some 46 episodes in total over its 6-year run. In its final two years, reruns were usually shown from earlier years. Amp's time slot was moved around quite a bit, but the show usually aired in the early morning hours on the weekend, usually 2am to 4am. Because of this late night time slot, the show developed a small but cult like following. A few online groups formed after the show's demise to ask MTV to bring the show back and air it during normal hours, but MTV never responded to the requests.
