Ryōtarō Shiba Zatsudan: Shōwa eno Michi

Beginning with the Meiji Restoration, modern Japan became a great power in Asia, but ended in the catastrophe of defeat. Writer Ryōtarō Shiba's recognition of this history has led him to tell the story of the Showa period before the madness of war, going back to the end of the Meiji-Bakumatsu periods, in a 12-part series.

Taro no Tō

A life story of Taro Okamoto, one of the most prominent Japanese avant-garde artists of the 20th Century. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of his birth in 2011, the drama depicts his struggle for the completion of his emblematic work "The Tower of Taro," known as the symbol of the Osaka Expo in 1970, and his eccentric relationships with his family.

Documentary WAVE

This is a program that looks at the "now" of the world while at the same time considering the future of Japanese people. In the first year, they aired "Chinese in Paris," which looked into the suffering of Chinese refugees, "Private Manning's War," which looked into the reality of the American war, and "Steve Jobs' Children," which followed the students who listened to Steve Jobs' speech at Stanford University.

Strange Days at Blake Holsey High

Black Hole High is a Canadian science fiction television program which first aired in North America in October 2002 on NBC and Discovery Kids. It is set at the fictional boarding school of the title, where a Science Club investigates mysterious phenomena, most of which is centered around a wormhole located on the school grounds. Spanning four seasons, the series developed into a success, and has been sold to networks around the globe. Created by Jim Rapsas, the series intertwines elements of mystery, drama, romance, and comedy. The writing of the show is structured around various scientific principles, with emotional and academic struggles combined with unfolding mysteries of a preternatural nature. In addition to its consistent popularity among children, it has been recognised by adults as strong family entertainment. Forty-two episodes of the series, each roughly twenty-five minutes in length, have been produced, the last three of which premiered in January 2006. Those three final episodes that aired were combined into a film, Strange Days: Conclusions. The show was filmed at the Auchmar Estate on the Hamilton Escarpment in Hamilton, Ontario.
