Bela, a Feia is a Brazilian telenovela originally aired on Rede Record from August 4, 2009 to June 2, 2010. A co-production with Televisa, it was based on the Colombian telenovela Yo soy Betty, la fea, as well as the American series Ugly Betty. On June 1, 2010, the penultimate episode of Bela, a Feia made Record lead the audience ratings against Rede Globo in both São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, a feat rarely achieved in Brazilian television viewership.
For 30 years, José João Batista—better known as Zezão—worked for the same company. After being forced into retirement by the board, he is left bitter and resentful, only to win a major lottery prize. However, he never collects the winnings, as he is struck and killed by a vehicle beforehand; the winning ticket ends up being buried with him. Angelina, Zezão’s wife, and their four children—Pedro, Jesus, André, and Maria de Fátima—search everywhere for the ticket, until Angelina has a vision of her late husband. In the vision, he reveals that he was buried with the ticket, which was tucked into the pocket of his suit jacket. Angelina then decides to exhume Zezão’s body. When the coffin is opened, the family discovers the corpse wearing only his underwear and concludes that the ticket has been stolen. This sets the stage for the soap opera's main plot: the search for the missing ticket.
Háblame de amor is a Mexican telenovela produced by TV Azteca for Azteca Digital. It is a remake of Amor en silencio by Eric Vonn.
La mujer perfecta is a Venezuelan telenovela created by Leonardo Pardón and produced by Venevisión. Entre el Amor y el Deseo is a Mexican telenovela by TV Azteca. It premiered on 2010. The protagonists are the international stars Lorena Rojas and Victor Gonzalez Reynoso. Grand actors such as Fernando Lujan, Hector Bonilla, Alvaro Guerrero, Veronica Merchant, Paco de la O and Gina Morett also included as cast members. This telenovela will be produced by Maria del Carmen Marcos, after her successful work in La Loba. Shooting of this series will start on 9 August 2010. The series premiered on 27 September 2010, at 10pm, sharing La Loba's timeslot.

Written by Valentina Parraga, directed by David Posada and Danny Gaviria; with Martha Godoy and Mary-Kathryn Kennedy as General Producer and Aurelio Valcarcel Carrol as Executive Producer.This telenovela was aired in 10 countries around the world. Although the novela was set in Los Angeles, Telemundo filmed the serial in Miami, Fl. Through [sometimes not so] careful editing it was made to appear as Los Angeles. The network debuted it on September 13, 2004 to April 4, 2005 at the 7 pm timeslot. Telemundo added English subtitles as closed captions on CC3.

Los exitosos Pells is a 2008-2009 Argentine telenovela, produced by Underground Producciones and Endemol, and aired by Telefe. It started being aired on November 5, 2008, replacing Vidas Robadas at 10:30PM. After a pair of schedule changes, it returned to 10:30PM until its end on July 15, 2009. The story is about a successful couple of TV hosts from a news channel, Martín Pells and Sol Casenave. In the first episode Martín Pells falls into a coma, and the CEO of the channel hires an underground actor, Gonzalo Echague, who happens to be extremely similar to Pells, to replace him. Such replacement is done not only for the TV but also with friends and relatives, in order that nobody suspects the absence of the real Pells. Gonzalo, acting as Martin, discovers that Martin and Sol had broken up long ago and were only acting as a happy couple for the television cameras. In reality, Sol had another lover which she hid from the public, and Martin had a homosexual relationship with the son of the CEO of the channel. Nevertheless, Gonzalo falls in love with Sol, and the main storyline of the soap opera involves his attempts to build a relationship with her.

It formally aired in the United States on Univision at 7pm/6pm central from August 9, 2010 to April 19, 2011, replacing Mi Pecado.
