Dateline

Dateline NBC, or simply Dateline, is a weekly American television newsmagazine series. It was previously the network's flagship newsmagazine, but now focuses mainly on true crime stories with only occasional editions that focus on other topics.

Thriller

Thriller is a British television series, originally broadcast in the UK from 1973 to 1976. It is an anthology series: each episode has a self-contained story and its own cast. As the title suggests, each story is a thriller of some variety, from tales of the supernatural to down-to-earth whodunits.

The 7.39

Carl Matthews commutes by train to London where he works in a property management office under a boss who is pressuring him to dismiss an employee. He has a kind and supportive wife Maggie and two teenage children who he feels do not appreciate him. One morning he complains to a woman called Sally that she has taken his seat on the train. He later apologises to her and they start chatting, a relationship develops and she reveals that she is divorced but about to marry again, although scenes with her fiancée suggest she is going cold on the idea. She works at a health club and Carl joins it so that he can see more of her. They fall in love and one evening when the train is not running they spend the night together at a hotel. The second part of the drama deals with the repercussions of their affair.

The Stranded

Zodiac II

July 2006, the city of Aix-en-Provence is under particular strain. The trial of Mathias Rousseau, the man who called himself the "Zodiac," is about to begin. Called back to France to testify, Esther Delaître moves in with Quentin, the child she adopted, at her brother Jérôme's house on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland. However, Detective Iguchi from the First Investigation Division has his eye on a man whom he suspects to kill for pleasure. This man is Naoya Nogi. He lies about his identity, erases his traces in public, and lives as if he is holding his breath. Nogi is actually Masato Yaginuma, the victim in the sensational Akishima mother and son kidnapping case. He gets his neighbor, Yoshika, involved as he tries to escape the police dragnet but comes to realize some facts. What is his true motive?

Catch Me a Killer

The Edwardians

The Edwardians is an eight-part miniseries broadcast in 1972–73. Dandelion Dead

This is a dramatisation of the true story of Major Herbert Rowse Armstrong, a solicitor and magistrate's clerk who lived in the small Welsh town of Hay-on-Wye. In 1921 he was arrested and charged with poisoning his domineering wife, Catherine, and later attempting to poison a business rival, Oswald Martin, by administering arsenic to them. At his trial, Armstrong claimed that he had bought the arsenic simply to kill the dandelions on his lawn. However he was convicted of murder and executed in 1922.
